Incompatible vanilla server

    I am new to creating a modded server

    I am having a problem with connecting to a server that is running the mod 'Dawncraft', my 2 other friends are able to join this server but I crash just by loading it and it says that's its an 'incompatible vanilla server'


    I have been trying for a day help



    *Things to note:

    I am running my minecraft on curse forge where the mod is from

    I have tried redownloading curse forge twice

    I have restarted my computer twice

    Our modpack versions are all the same

    The server just starting up doesn't change the outcome of my game crashing

    So when you actually try connecting to the server, your game crashes? Share your client log

    can't see it crash according to the log

    hmmm well just to note I have tried to open a singleplayer world and that didn't crash, by logs it says that(server) didn't crash


    so i don't really know what's happening now
