im having problems joining a modded server

    so basically, im playing with some friends on a modded server on aternos, i started having a problem related to java.io.ioException..., even tho i was able to join the server before (and play in it for a few hours), but now that im trying to join again, it says that mt connection was forcibly closed by a remote host, any ideas anyone?

    (edit: i did try that tracert dynip thingy, but idk what to do with it)

    do the versions of the mods installed on your pc match the mods on the server?

    Do you face the same issue in vanilla?

    i dont, in vanilla it runs perfectly, the onlything different from the server mod files is the optfine version probably, ill try to fix it

    Make sure that the EXACT same mods installed on both your PC and the server. It is not enough to simply have the same mods installed, they must also be installed in the exact same Minecraft and mod version. Likewise, the version of the mod loader (Fabric/Forge) must be identical.


    If you're 100% sure that they match exactly then you can try deleting your config folder on your pc and server.


    If you use a Modpack make sure you're running the same version as the server.
