  • have server lags all the time. I keep getting reset and also have disconnects. The log says that I would be too quickly and would also be overloaded. I think my server is overloaded. Could be due to Optifine. If not I have to see what the problem is. Otherwise I'll send pictures of the problem.

    One more thing, the server has been saving for +35 minutes now and I can't restart the server as a result. I'm a bit scared that I might lose my world, which I've had for over two years. :(

    Minecraft version is 1.20.1

    Changed the title of the thread from “disconnect with: ''Player'' moved too quickly 1.20.1 Optifine pre5” to “disconnect with: ''Player'' moved too quickly used *preview_OptiFine_1.20.1_HD_U_I5_pre6.jar*”.
  • Ok, this problem is finally over now. This was a bit scary, but now it's fixed. If it runs smoothly without Optifine, the issue is closed. He saved the world for too long, but worrying about it was too early...

  • New problem:

    [Server thread/WARN]: handleDisconnection() called twice

    and

    [Server thread/WARN]: HerrPeter moved too quickly! 9.579046767139516,1.9986640208878583,-2.7282175247181613

    I have no idea why this is coming recently... It always worked

    Optifine is client sided, you don't install it on the server, how could it be the problem?

    Switch to Paper 1.20.1.

  • I think it's my PC/laptop. I only have 4GB of Ram and it's still Windows 8.1

    But it definitely works better on another PC. It could also be due to the server in general, since the server's RAM limit has been reached. When I download the world and want to upload it to a new server, the maximum is reached. So I think my current server has reached its maximum memory.

  • I think it's my PC/laptop. I only have 4GB of Ram and it's still Windows 8.1

    Not related to the problems you mentioned at all.

    But it definitely works better on another PC.

    What?

    It could also be due to the server in general, since the server's RAM limit has been reached. When I download the world and want to upload it to a new server, the maximum is reached. So I think my current server has reached its maximum memory

    What exactly makes you think that the memory has reached the max? Did the server crash?
