Yesterday after building on my survival world the squid farm that I designed and tested on my creative copy of the world I realiced it didn´t generate any squid, at best it generated some salmon.
Triying to find the problem I set my gamemode to spectator and I flew around the farm to see if Squid were generating outside the farm, but I didn´t see any. Then I set my gamemode to creative and flew around the rivers and oceans of my world and I couldn´t find any squid.
Later i came to the realization that squid only spawned on new generated chunks, but in all the already generated rivers and oceans I wasn´t able to find a single one.
I´m guessing that this problem is caused by the server files, beacause my creative world, where everything works normally, is a singleplayer world.
Any ideas abaut what is causing this problem?
