Do you have any suggestions on how to see inside the 000017.ldb file, though? I know that it's a LevelDB file and it contains world info, but I want to actually see what the content is, because I'm just that kind of person. Do you have any advice or know any websites I should use? (I don't really want to download anything.)

I made an SMP to play with my friends, and I've been thinking about swapping out world maps every month or so in order to make sure there aren't too many TNT craters hanging around everywhere. So, I searched in the forums, and found stuff saying "download both worlds, and swap out the old world's playerdata with the new world's playerdata." I was like, "okay, great idea!" And then was greeted by a "worlds" folder without playerdata. Here are some screenshots:

Why is it doing this, and what should I do?
