You have access to your friends minecraft aternos server. Once you logged in or have accessed it follow the steps down below

Download the resourcepack you want -> Open the packs folder -> Upload the resourcepack you downloaded (which is the arrow that points up)

Could you show me the folder your friend gave you?

Were you able to join the server before?

When you mean same mod folder, does that mean your friends gave you the folder?

Did you download the right version of Forge?

Ask the owner to give you the DynIP or to give you the password and username of the server
