I am running servers with 1.18.1 and 1.19.2 MC versions and have the proper version of Worldedit installed/ I am able to add some schematics, but larger ones tend to kick me off the server as I am pasting them in. Does this have anything to do with server load on the shared server? Or is it more of a RAM issue?
I am taking a saved world from PlanetMinecraft and loading that world on my 1.18.1 server. then use Worldedit to make the selection of the items I want from that world and save them as a schematic. Then I download that file and move it to my family server and log in, load the schematic and paste it. I see a message that it was pasted in, but nothing visible on the screen for a while. This is common as it is loading the blocks. but i think the server times out and boots me from the server before it finishes rendering the pasted item.
About a minute or so later, the server shuts down and gives a message that it crashed. The last entry in the log is my paste command - no feedback on why the server stopped.
one of the large items was able to be pasted once, but then not able to be pasted again. The two other times I tried both ended in the same crash as described above.
I was thinking that the source world I had loaded was an older version before 1.13 and tried to load it with the force upgrade switch turned on. It loaded OK and I was able to make new copies and export new schematics. But they also crash as I paste them in.
Would it work better to paste large buildings/etc late at night when server loads are lower? Any other tips that may help? I tried using FastAsyncWorldEdit, but don't see how to load a Schematic file with that plugin.
