i think we have a backup drive when i loaded it shows bedrock edition is there a way to convert the file to java?

so my friend made a server on bedrock we played on it then after like 2 or 1 years i told him to log on and start the server it showed that he had to create a new account with name it was with google so is the world deleted and the account?
