try reinstalling papermc
try finding the paper.yml in the files section.
nvm didn’t read it well
Did you install PaperMC as your server software?
I probably found the issue.
Try connecting with your server ip with the port.
e.g. example.aternos.me:port
You replace example with your server and replace “port” with your server port.

sadly aternos will not support bungee cord or waterfall or velocity or any proxy service anytime soon. They do support proxies on exaroton tho which is paid and maintained by the same company as aternos.
oh jesus this thread is long anyways, I'll try to try different steps
step 1: go to your server and go to the worlds section download all the worlds.
step 2: download your plugins in the files section.
step 3: open chrome and go to website chunker.app
step 4: upload the world into the archive option.
step 5: select the version of minecraft you want. (1.19.4)
step 6: when completed repeat step 3 and 4 for the nether and end
step 7: when that's finally done download the 3 worlds and set your server to 1.19.4 paper.
step 8: startup your server and shut it down after to load the world list
step 9: upload your plugins and worlds.
tada you got yourself 1.19.4 again with the same world with probably corruption.
ok here's what you need to do.
You need to log in when the server goes on and run /kill @e[type=minecraft:zombie] to kill all the zombies in the server. Therefore it should stop the problem.
now from what I saw last time they run multiple minecraft servers in one server to reduce the amount of cost (correct me if I'm wrong) But anyway let me tell you anyway. They use an Intel i7/Xeon processors for their servers and the ram for each server is limited is 2 GB and each server is limited to 10 GB of storage
here I will put it into specs instead of a sentence
RAM: 2GB of ram
CPU: Intel i7/Xeon processors

the mod alexsmobs is preventing it from starting up. Try removing the mod or find a alternative mod.
and make sure to make a copy of your world if it says to delete it
what its trying to say is the mod is already on aternos, you just need to switch your server software to fabric

this is a common problem, but I don't know how to fix it permanently but it should resolve in a few minutes on its own.
start the server then click accept

Now in my case I would use bungeecord/velocity if you would want a dedicated server with different permissions different plugins etc but since aternos doesn’t support bungeecord/velocity you can use
Multiverse-Core and Multiverse inventories and per world plugins
