also we can only join once then it says timed out before we join the world

Well, i have a smp with some school friends, today we tried to join and the server didnt work, it lets us join but everything is stopped like mobs item drops etc and then it kick us saying timed out. Idk why does this happen but if u could help me i would appreciate it
