After much effort and many attempts, I have still not been able to get my required world and version together.
The problem I am facing after I try to do as you suggested is;
My world resetting, even after I reupload the same world file. (I know it is the same file because all my information, like inventory, current location, respawn coordinates (even tried teleporting there), last death coordinates, e.t.c. are all the same. Just the world is different.)
I have tried uploading the world multiple times, but to no avail.
Basically the problem is when I reupload my world.

what I meant was;
as you said, I restored the backup, downloaded the world and then switched the server back to 1.16.5 (this forcibly cleared the data, like the world). then I uploaded the world which I had downloaded earlier. (the server is still 1.16.5 at this point, of course).
But still, after I started the server, the world wasn't the same, It was as if a completely new world had been generated, no previous structures, different world spawn, different seed completely.
BUT, I had my inventory from MY world. and after dying (trying to go to spawn to see if I had just gotten far away), It said that my respawn anchor had been destroyed and I spawned at this NEW world spawn.
So basically... settings and the like were the same, just the world had been updated.

I created a server around 2-3 years ago, and had made quite a lot of progress, and also really liked the seed.
After some time of inactivity, when I came to recheck on my Aternos account, it said I didn't have any servers.
I thought I had lost all of my progress (I didn't know about Backups then) So I moved on.

Now, after all this time, I checked my drive and found a Backup of said world.
So, I restored it.
But here's the problem...
the og world backup is in 1.19.4 (somehow, I guess from restoring it?)... I want my world to be in 1.16.5 .. I have tried doing so, but I can't keep the world and the version at the same time.. I need help with this.
It HAS to be in 1.16.5

What I tried?
I tried shifting to my backup, first( The version automatically changed to 1.19) then downloaded just the world. After that, converted the version to the desired 1.16.5, Then uploaded my downloaded world. But, the world changed (somewhere along changing versions, I think) (the seed entirely, but the items in my inventory stayed),
That is my problem.. Is this unique to me? (Am I making a mistake somewhere) Or is this a common/un-avoidable thing, and the only solution would be to just play in 1.19.4?
Please help me If you know anything abut this, or if you have any ideas I could try.
