I AM IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM ASKING FOR 24/7 SERVERS

its a thing that I've seen other server hosts have where if you request to join a server that is offline it will start up, so i know its possible and that the team can pull it off, and i could care less if you put more ads in the server list. i just want to play my world with my friends without them having to make an account for me to manually share them so they have to start it themselves. that is the one thing that i dont like about aternos.

and if abusing the server with bots to make it 24/7 is a problem in this situation, then i guess it can be solved by making it run for a limited amount of time like 5 hrs. or something.

i think if this eventually becomes a thing, it should be optional to turn it on, so people can still have the experience they have today.

if this feature does get declined, i would like to know why just out of curiosity.

thank you for reading aternos, i hope you can decide on doing something like this :aternos-heart:

I'm switching my server from the really terrible minehut and it had a feature where if you joined your server, it would automatically turn on without having to go to the website. i find it annoying to go the the page every time to do it so im wondering if anyone knows of a plugin or a setting that allows this feature on aternos

try, launching the servers with some plugins disabled. create a backup of the server with all your plugins, then go to files/plugins and delete everything (which is why you need to backup) and now that the plugins are gone, you can confirm whether or not plugins were crashing the server depending on if it keeps crashing or not.

if you did this and it still crashes, do the same thing but with the mods of the server.

if it still crashes, i dont really know what to do but you likely edited files you weren't supposed to, or edited a case sensitive file incorrectly.

    i hope this helps

well, specs are how good the computer is of the server. basically specs are how beefy you want the server to be. specs are about the computer and not the server, so the posts in 2017 will probably work fine

    hope this helps

it looks like you are wanting to use optifine. so forge is the software you want to use. first, go to software and check if it is set to forge 1.19.4 (assuming that's the update you are using) if not, set it to forge 1.19.4(45.1.0). the second thing i got is check if all the mods are downloaded as forge mods, not fabric or quilt. the third thing i have, is check if the mods have specific dependencies, you can find a mod's dependencies by going to minecraftforge.net then going to a mod and clicking "dependencies".

i hope this helps you out, i can maybe answer more problems if there's specifics
