I recommend the mod Wyrmroost. It just got approved by curseforge moderators.

Description: Wyrmroost is a dragon dimension mod with many different species and items. The dimension isn't available yet, but it will be in the soon future. It's in very early development but very stable as well.

I guess that's a possibility, but it's never happened to me before. Not in Single Player nor in Multiplayer. And I have to admit, I have been playing 1.12.2 for quite awhile.

Forgot to mention, this is a 1.12.2 server. Not 1.13.

Also, it's not a temporary problem. I quite frankly don't want to test if it's a map issue because it's so much work just to save the world, change settings, put up plugins, etc. I thank you for your advice, even though it might not be the solution.

My most active server seems to have picked up an issue.

You see, one late day I opened my server (The_Awaken.aternos.me) to build with my friend. Then I noticed a strange kind of lag.

No, it wasn't blocklag, no it wasn't server lag, nor was it some kind of low FPS lag.

Certain blocks like tall grass and torches will not disappear, even when the block underneath them are broken. Gravel and sand still fall. Water and lava do not disappear even when the source block is blocked/gone. Flowing water/lava still stays.

I can destroy the "lagging" blocks, but that's irritating. I do not have any idea what's causing this whether it be a new plugin or just weird lag. Blocks that aren't meant to be floating do not go away. Even when the server is restarted.

At first it didn't seem like a big issue. I just shrugged it off, thinking that the server is having an off day. But it's been like this for 1-2 weeks.

Alright, thank you. it's good to get some clarification since at first I thought it was Aternos's fault for performance. Then I began to google about it, and everyone was saying how the snapshots were so laggy. But I wasn't sure if it affected the release. I hosted on an alternate free server hoster (just as a test) and they had the exact same issue. I'll make sure to wait before putting my server up again for the 1.13.1 update. Thanks

Yes, I'm pretty sure. Many others are having the same issue and my internet seems to be the best it ever was. This only happens on 1.13 and not 1.12.2 or lower versions. I don't see how it has something to do with my client

There's really not much to say about it, except that this issue has been affecting most if not all players currently. I would recommend waiting until Aternos has this settled because it seems to be an issue with their system. 1.13 was a big update, after all.

I'm sorry your world was wiped, remember to always save your world before doing anything (installing a mod, resetting settings, changing versions, etc)

Same. I think this is a common issue, that used to be rare among people.

(Not sure if I have the right to help, just trying to resolve things is all)

Recently I've had the same issue. I have used 4 different accounts to create different worlds because my current one becomes "corrupted" in a sense where it gets stuck in the loading state (about 5-20 minutes) which is a long time to wait. The only times it does start up, I can join but my friends cannot.

I also noticed that my servers have started lagging for no reason. It certainly wasn't like this before.

I would assume that all this lag is because of all the people coming to put up 1.13 servers.

I hope this gets resolved.

Well first, it was a generated world in earlier versions, but when I got terrible lag, I generated a new one for 1.13 a few days ago. but it still lags!

The moment that 1.13 released on Aternos, I made a separate server from my own to test the new version out in survival. Ever since then, I've been getting nonstop lag for that server. My server shuts down randomly every 30 minutes or so, getting blocklag, etc. It's beginning to annoy me and my friends.

Many people have had this issue, as I read them on these forums. I haven't had so much lag on any other server, and I assume that this is either an issue with Aternos in general, or something changed in the new update.

for unknown reasons, I've been having issues recently on starting my server. It loads and loads, takes about 10-20 minutes, then immediately goes offline. Yesterday I had the same issue, but I thought it was just having a bad day. I have searched on all Forums for any posts about this, but I couldn't find anything. It goes online every 4th try.

Hello Aternos team, I have two mods to suggest.

They're quite similar yet so different. (I apologize for including these in a plugin suggestion, I didn't know that it really mattered)

Dragon Mounts 2: Explore the world with dragons! Hatch them with dragon eggs found around the over world. Difference between this mod from Dragon Mounts 2 is that it's 1.12.2, adds fire breathing, armor, tools, etc. It's also a continuation of Dragon Mounts, which was discontinued unfortunately. https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/dm2

Realm of the Dragons: Also a continuation of Dragon Mounts, adds armor, tools, eggs, and fire breathing. Instead of elements, dragons are gemstones (garnet, sapphire, ruby, etc)

Hello Aternos team. I appreciate the work you put into this hosting machine, and I have a few suggestions.

Plugins Citizens2 AND Denizen. I need either one of these plugins available stat, as I need them for my Adventure-based game. Citizens is no longer updated and Citizens2 seems so much better. Please, for goodness sake, at least reply as soon as possible. I really want these for my server as soon as possible.

P.S: I would prefer Denizen over Citizens2 if you're unable to put in both)
