Just had a look at that there, still no change on the connection, I've tried restarting the game and the server and I still can't join, neither can my friend.
Is there any other ideas?

I like Aternos for minecraft vanilla so I'll stay for that but if I can't host modded minecraft I may look at other server hosts.
Aternos is by far my favorite though.

Hey, I started up vanilla minecraft and had no problem playing with a friend, so I decided to add plugins, all was well I then decided to change from Vanilla Tekkit legends. That worked.
But when it comes to trying to join on tekkit classic it just say Can't connect to server in red under the server IP.

Any help would be appreciated.
