I unzipped it and it showed up but it said the world predates 1.7.10 and now I cant close it

I tried that already and when I put it in there it didn't show up. Is the map corrupted?

It still didn't work, how do I open the map on singleplayer? It's not an adventure map, it's my own survival world.

I did it in the wrong order and installed the world and then added the software but it reset the world I installed and I realized my mistake when I joined the server but now its not working again. Did I ruin it?
Update: I tried it all over again and it is still not working...

Okay, so I changed my forge to 1.12.2 version 14.23.0.2512 and my mod version to 1.12.2-3.1.128. I can load up the menu successfully, but the server still won't start. I don't understand because the software it is using matches yet it still isn't loading..

Hi, so recently I have been unable to start my server. It says it is starting, and it never does. I have already checked the server logs, and I found no error message. My concern is it won't start due to the mod I am using. I'm using the Twilight Forest mod, which recently got updated to the newest version of Minecraft, 1.12.2. I have been using the 1.7.10 version. I noticed the number for the mod in the software section has changed... I have invested countless hours onto my server and I am deeply concerned I won't be able to access it again, is there a way to use the old software? Or save my server and run it on the newer version? Thanks.
