In this world there is technology and magic. It is your task to subdue the dragons, using any combination of technology and magic you so desire. To help you in your quest there are special armors that you can craft from the carcasses of the dragons you kill. You may also encounter villages with a questing shopkeeper and village lords that have special needs. Each have good rewards should you appease them.

Go forth and conquer those Dragons!

This pack is centered around Project-E for resource gathering after acquiring your raw resources with Ex Nihilo in early game. Quests are not forced progression so the route you take is up to you.

What happened? You will have to solve this riddle, but to start SURVIVAL!

Feeling cocky in this part of the galaxy will end up getting you killed. After escaping the treacherous heat of the vast desert planet on your last adventure, you got the ship up and running again. While using the hyperdrive to venture into uncharted space, you thought all was fine and dandy until… sirens shot off, piercing your brain like a sharp dagger. You stumbled over to the control panel to find out what the issue was and noticed that the damn hyperdrive had went into meltdown. With wrench in hand, you rush over to the hyperdrive core and try to fix any part of it that you can, but you are too late. The ship shook violently, causing all sorts of mechanical problems. With no hope left, your survival instincts had kicked in and urged you to try and use the working engine power to thrust your way out. The engines roared and threw the ship off course, plummeting the vessel out of hyperspace and into a blackhole. With low engine power and time needed to fix the hyperdrive, you had given up and let the abyss of the black hole determine your fate, thus, turning on the autopilot while you continued to tinker with the hyperdrive. The ship began shaking violently once more, throwing your body into the ceiling, knocking you out cold. Luckily, the auto pilot had done it's job and managed to land the ship safely on a nearby world. You rise from your slumber to the smell of foreign burning gasses, the sounds of faint screams, and the concept that you are in hell. Stepping out of your ship, you look around you and notice that you are not quite in hell, but you might as well be. It might be a good time to hang up the keys to flying ships and work on getting a proper piloting license, because you are apparently the worse pilot in the galaxy.

The earth was unable to support the exponentially growing population of humans. Wars began to break out between the small nation states over the dwindling food and water supplies. Once the energy crisis hit, the super powers join the fray. No on will remember who launch the first nuke but when it happened, the rest of the super powers pushed the button as well. This would have been the end of the human race if not for a group of enlightened scientist from around the globe that had formed the re-genesis project. Foreseeing the end, they launched dozens of rockets that were loaded with advanced technology capable of returning life to the plant. Ten thousand years later one of those rockets returns.....

Can you survive the hostile environment, hold back the mutants creatures that inhabit the planet now, and strip enough resources from the barren landscape to rebuild civilization?

The pack has around 200+ mods that are carefully selected and balanced between each other and GregTech. I've created a Tiering system that follows GT. You can't get lategame stuff without lategame GT!

An example of Tiering is here:

Tier 0: Vanilla Minecraft, Pam's Harvestcraft, GT Flint tools

Tier 1: GT Bronze Age, TiCo, Chisel, Jabba, Twillight Forest

Tier 2: GT (LV), Railcraft, Forestry, Extra Utilities, Backpacks

Tier 3: GT (MV), Thaumcraft (+Addons), Binnie, Advanced Solar Panels, AE2

Tier 4: GT (HV), Galacticraft (+Addons), AFSU, Witchery

Tier 5: GT (EV), Gendustry, Blood Magic

The Simple Life 2 takes a slightly different approach to Minecraft than most other Mod-packs. It has been designed with some unusual and lesser known mods alongside the more popular 1.10 offerings. Each area of the pack (tech, magic etc) has only one primary mod to influence that area rather than having multiple tech mods all vying for attention, you’ll have to follow the integrated quests and custom recipes to achieve your goals!

It also focuses heavily on long-term playability by creating an almost serene world to explore whilst being able to detail, build, craft and collect to your hearts content. There are no giant boss monsters or grindy sieving here, just a balance of peaceful building and exploration alongside quest-lines to keep moving you forwards as you play.

What the modpack is about: Awakening modpack aims to be a pack unlike any other. It is designed to be a long term use pack e.g. for a long Minecraft let’s play series or just an everyday pack to keep you playing for a long time, with well over 280 mods and over 800 quests (and growing). Say no to defaults! Nearly every mod and config in this pack has been edited or modified to make them work better together. The ultimate idea of the pack is to integrate mods together so well that you wouldn’t know they were ever meant to be separate. Is this the most highly customized and ambitious modpack ever made? Probably. Try it and see for yourself.

This is the third installment of a fairly popular mod pack series, of which it is being featured in many youtube videos by popular lets players. It is a modpack whos survival mode is different than anything else on the current modpack list.

Note about intensity: Website recommends 4gb, I have run it on a server with 1 with no difficulty or impact.
