You can't install mods additionally to modpacks.

We won't do that. Often modpacks are configured in a way that the mods in them work together well, mods on top of the modpacks might cause problems.

That's just one reason, the team or other helpers may fill in more if they want, but the message should be pretty clear

Yeeep, I did quit discord, so I guess that's true

Check the logs for any errors, additionally;

Make sure that mod and forge/fabric and minecraft versions match on both your server and client.
