I dont work at Aternos, i am merely a volunteer helper and moderator on two of it's social media platforms.
nevertheless, Aternos didn't code their own forums, as you can clearly see at the bottom in the footer; its made by Woltlab. And still, a no is a no. There is no use to upping the limit because than the next complaint/suggestion comes saying it should be upped more, and this is the best way of preventing spam, and people dont NEED any more than one thread.

Unless you mean in the serverlist section which we explicitly stopped allowing because people would spam threads/advertisements all the time.

A thousand, safe bet? You just need a reasonable amount of reviews, downloads and the likes tho.
Aternos automatically updates plugins/mods.
Assuming you mean the alwaysonline plugin, no. As the plugin already states. It doesn't keep your Aternos server online.
The software itself already mentions it is not ready for wide use yet ^
I don't really think this is something Aternos can "fix". Aternos already tries to give the best performance and hardware/RAM it can give. If a modpack is simply too much for our servers to handle, that's beyond Aternos at that point, usually. You have to remember we are still a FREE host with limits.
If the suggest page says we can't add it, we can't add it.

Just asked, that's because we cache CurseForge downloads. This means even when they're not actually available on CurseForge, you can still download them if they're cached.

If i am correct, Chaos Awakens (assuming you mean the OreSpawn successor mods) was rejected from CurseForge by CurseForge, meaning it's not on curseforge, hence we cannot add Chaos Awakens on the website. While it is currently on Aternos, you probably can't actually download it to your server anymore. I'll inform the team and ask them to remove the mod.
It gave a warning for that, if you just skipped past that it's fully on you. It also recommended backups in that SAME warning.
