Thank you! This worked! Will I have to keep updating the IP until the compatibility issues are solved? I wasn't having this problem before until I updated to 1.7.7..

I was having that problem as well and one of the supporters said to try using the dynamic IP.. I hope that works it worked for me! The only problem with that is you'll have to update the IP every time you play/: I didn't have this problem until I updated to 1.7.7 /: I don't know if it concerns the whitelist and OP compatibility issue. But it works for now!
Hey, i have been using Aternos for a week now and today my server said it was online on the website but when i go on [lexicon]Minecraft[/lexicon] to join the server it says "can't resolve host name" and "unknown host" and sometimes three question marks appear. is there any way i can fix this so i can go on the server?

Okay I installed the vanilla 1.7.7 and now my server is up to date. However, I am now getting a message from my minecraft client about "unknown host" is that because of the whitelist? Is there anything I can do? And I would like to thank you for having helped me out and answering my questions!

It's simple: You just have to select "1.7.7" from the dropdown next to "Vanilla" in the Version section an click install next to it.
Even though it says 1.7.7_INCOMPATIBLE?

Okay so I'm new to this server stuff. I really don't know a lot of the terminology used.. Since my server is running at 1.7.5 version and my minecraft client is at 1.7.7 they are incompatible. I don't know how to update my server or if that is ever possible. Can anybody help me? Is there something I am suppose to download?? I've been looking at the forums but nobody has mentioned this and it makes me feel quite dumb as I seem to be the only one that doesn't know what is going on.. Please help me!

I just recently made my new server yesterday and I have been playing with ease, until about 3 hours ago. I log onto my server and it connects for about 15-30 seconds then shuts down without a notice. I don't know why this is happening. Does anybody know what to do? There's still plenty of room for me to play on the aternos server. It's only at 71%. I do not have any warning points either. I tried restarting my computer, clearing my history, logging in and out of aternos, but my server just won't stay online. It's very frustrating since I was playing just fine a few hours ago. I did not change anything so I have no clue why this is happening. Please help me! I greatly appreciate and value your time and assistance.
