Okay so as I said I wanted to make a server with only plug ins running on 1.12.2 and I need some suggestions for plug ins that will work atm the only thing I chose to add is the RacesAndClasses plug in. This will be on a survival world and we will be building a town by choosing a place to put a well/fountain and then building our own homes/shops around it.

(Location) we are both in the US
Okay so my friend is having issues where he lags when he joins a server or he drops and it's not just on my server I gave him another server to try which still had the issue for him where it told him the host forcibly disconnects him or the Java.io issue happens. I've gamed with him for a long time so I know it's not an Internet issue and I have no mods or plug ins so it's not anything on that end.
I also have a two questions
Q. Are servers having issues today?
Q. When my friend joins my server is he connecting to my connection or to a separate server?
Don't have the server log for it sorry but I do remember it only said he disconnected nothing really special.
P.S. here is the server I gave him to try aside from mine which I found on the forums under the same issue of friends not connecting very well for multiple people but I never saw the issue resolved. (aft2d.aternos.me)
