That's not 100% true. You can actually download your world, modify the playerdata and reupload this world. It's a bit tricky, but it should work.

We can't really help you with that. Your email is the only verification, so it's the only way you could get a new password, if you have lost your old one. How can we know that you are not trying to get into the account of someone else.
