We've discussed this in the last team meeting and we don't really see the need for old beta versions.
Of course some people want them for some nostalgia, but that would not be worth the effort.

Yeah thank you, we already realised this yesterday and talked with the developers of BukGet.
BukGet did a great job, but I totally understand their decision since it's necessary to completely
rewrite their API to parse the new BukkitDev page.

BTW we already found a temporary solution (which has still lots of bugs), but plugin installations
are possible again (at least sometimes :D).

We already have a pretty annoying message for adblock users which helps us to massively reduce the adblock rate.

Ads are not that easy as you might think, you can't just place more ads.
First you need a place to get the ads from (in our case Google Adsense).
In Google Adsense you can only place 3 ads per page and there are strict rules about how you are allowed to place them.
Of course you can try to get ads from other networks like Adsense, which is something that we've tried
sometimes in the past. But there are lots of things to keep in mind when using ads, starting with security questions,
(we were once in the Google Safebrowsing filter for a day because of not trustable ads), going on with legal
questions and of course our personal opinion about what we can place as ads on our site and which would annoy
our users too much. And in the end we have to make sure that our current ads are not harmed by these changes to
keep Aternos alive.
