See, I've tried that and it doesn't work!
I'm including screenshots of the compressed file's contents, what happens when I do try exporting it to a new empty folder, and what does end up extracting. The option to "Skip" or "Try Again" happens a total of six times and the only way to progress is by closing it and aborting the extraction entirely OR hitting skip, which makes it so not all the files transfer over. Hitting try again literally does nothing.
Can I have someone review my world files for me? I tried to reupload my world for 1.13, but it was too big. So I took it to MCEdit, but b4 I could finish extracting it from the zip to do so, it said that there were files of the same name in the empty beforehand file and that I needed to rename some of the files in my world. In fear of breaking it forever I didn't do that and it only sends part of the files to the uncompressed file. MCEdit sees the unfinished world file as an error and does not open it. Now I have no way of putting up the server. My friends and I made a lot of things and having to start over would probably crush any thoughts of playing this anymore. PLEASE HELP !!!
