Didn't have a backup. Is there any reason all the data would just randomly leave like that after working hours before?

around a week ago, i loaded up my server completely fine. Then around an hour later, I tried to sign on again and the world was completely restarted. Is there any way I could get my data back? Did not have a backup but weird that all my data was gone when I signed on.

My server data was all lost. Was working a few hours ago and then suddenly when I tried to access it, my entire world was restarted.
