Hello there. I understand there have been some major issues regarding aternos servers over the past few hours. From what I can gather, lots of people have found there world lost, including me. Luckily I have some automatic backups, and normal backups. However, I tried to load in the most recent backup from 1:13AM today, just to find modded blocks not rendered in (no mod creative item list either), and then I look behind me, a huge amount of chunks of previously built-on land has been reset to a new random jungle biome, suggesting the world file is now corrupted.
My queries are as follows:
Is this particular backup corrupted because it is backed up within the time frame of the failure?
If that ^^^ is so, would backups I have from say, 3 days ago, work properly, if I loaded it in, or from the system storage failure, would they also be corrupt?
And, if not, is there any way I can obtain these "potentially" safer world backup files, so I can possess them on my own system?
Thank you for any help given, as I would hate to loose a world I have spent over 2 years building block by block.

Thank you for that Roman. I actually already removed Forge Essentials because i didn't trust what it was doing to the saves I was returning to, I actually lost a small build after building then saving it, so after that I generally didn't like the way it operated so got rid of it. Also thanks for informing me that such plugins or mods could actually do that, I had no idea.

How am I supposed to determine what/where the 'unnecessary' chunks are? I have an ever expanding world sprawling out and I don't intend to loose any potential build space.

Hi. I've posted on he support ticket system twice with no response, so I'll give it a try here.
I came to start my server on the 14th of april, just to find it wouldn't start because it was over the posted 4GB limit (was at 4.04). I tried removing a few unecessary files, but this was to no effect. I then also went into the backups to find something very odd. On that same day, at 12pm, there was an auto backup of about 626MB, then somehow, 4 hours later, there was another backup, that was, 3.68GB??
Please explain to me how this is even possible as I am very confused with the situation.Thank you for any help given.

Hi there, I've not posted here before, though have been using Aternos since 2017.
I have a Traincraft server that me and a few other friends (usually no more than 2) work on, creating a giant Traincraft Network, not yet seen by any of the public, however we have intentions of making it into a server one day.
My problem is:
Ever since my version of Traincraft for Aternos was updated to 4.4.0_016, it has been stuck under the old way of doing mods; one mod or one mudpack, not (like recently) simultaneously putting mods in a folder, as due to this issue, I don't even have a server folder I can access. Ever since I've tried a few methods of "rewiring" the server, eg: swapping in and out worlds, however if I try updating the mod (by finding it in the mods software menu), it just creates a new world instead of keeping the original one, (luckily I have deliberate backups due to doubt). Plus, I have found that due to the 200MB world upload limit, I simply can't put my world back in, (only that if I did it previously, it would revert back to 4.4.0_016, so I'm stuck in a loop) so I don't dare try refreshing any mods now as I'd loose tons of progress.Any help would be very much appreciated, (a new version of Traincraft has come out literally a few hours ago, and I really wish to use it!).
Thanks, Chazi.
