There is spawn protection around the area that you are trying to break the blocks. The only way I can find right now to go past that is to just have him OP you both. I'd recommend for your friend to move the spawn point away from the house or lower the protection radius in the options tab for the server.

I am currently running FTB Revelation on your Aternos servers and I am not having any luck as of today as they are constantly crashing. They will not make it past boot so I am never actually able to get into the server. I have tried troubleshooting for awhile. I've done the following:
- Reinstalled the modpack.
- Generated a new map.
- Reinstalled the entire server, resetting all the settings.
At this point I'm convinced it's a problem with the modpack and it's weight combined with the servers low amount of ram. It also could be something else I'm not aware of. I will attach the logs to see if any of you can find anything out.
