I've been running a (forge) custom modded server which will run pretty well itself, but there's a fair amount of server lag. I personally think a lot of it has to do with mob spawning, I would add a plugin like clearlag but I see that we can't have plugins along with mods. Is there an alternative or are there paths I can take to improve it?

It's worth noting that I can launch the game itself without issue, load into a single player world but the server crashes with this exception
