I can't start my server because it crashes loading forge

I read about it and it says its because i have a mod with different version of the server but i have the same mods in the same version in my pc and it works just fine

I removed all the mods and it finaly worked.

But if i want to play with mods do i need to instal them on my computer to play on the server with the same mods?

No i only have vanilla minecraft on the pc

but the server has some mods so i could test how it works

So i create the server and put it online but cant even connect it just stays on minecraft login page for ever

i tried to log on other servers and it works fine so isn't my firewall/computer problem
