and im using Tlauncher

hi,i just use aternos a few minutes ago, my friends and i want to play multiplayer, they are far away from me but still in the same country.

but here the problem is, i can join my own server using direct connect but they cant, i actually try to add server and put the name and the address and i cant join it unless i use direct connect, they send a pic of the problem, its say "Internal Exception:io.netty.handler.codec.Decoder.Exception:Java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 26"

please help me ;-;
