1, 2 and 5. We dont develop pocketmine and we and the authors are well aware that it doesn't support those things. We cant change that and if the authors of pocketmine were able to invest that much time into it they probably also would love to change that.
On java softwares with plugin support have existed since years and still use most of vanillas source code.
Pocketmine is actually older then the official bedrock server software afaik and as such they had to completely start from scratch.

4. If you want a paid host you could use https://exaroton.com which has the same interface but running that 24/7 isnt cheap because it wasnt really made for that.

it was at 200MB and then was increased to 1GB. We have never allowed uploads of larger worlds

The way our backups are structured wouldnt work with other hosts and we cant allow you to download mods/plugins etc. for legal reasons.
