do a backup and if it didnt work your world wasnt the problem

if you want to change mods you have to use forge.

start your server and they will generate a folder. There you can configure them. Jars are not meant to be modified.

the problem is that when a modpack gets updated by the Original author the system would delte all your mods and reset all configs. Because it would just copy these folders from the new server pack. It would actually need to know wich mods cam from the pack, what you changed and not just what is diffrent.
The current system only knows wich files exist etc. But this system would need to know why they exist and where they got from.

forge 1.14 is even laggier then vannilla 1.14.
If you dont really need Xaeros Worldmap install papermc instead
