View distance isnt measured in blocks but in chunks. The standard is 10 but due to the unoptimized world format of 1.13 and 1.14 it was changed to I think 5.

This will not be done because aternos cant afford to run servers 24/7 for 2 Reasons:
1. As a free Service Aternos needs to save ressources where it can2. If you dont need to go to the Website to start it there will be way less money generated trough ads so Aternos would go bankrupt.

We use curseforge for mods because we can do automatic updates there.
For plugins we use Spigotmc and dev.bukkit for the same reason.

You cant use Plugins and Mods together because there is no software out there that supports both of theses(besides spong wich has very little plugin support) if something like that gets develped it COULD be added but until then its impossible

You cant generate the void world preset directly on the server(at least i couldnt get him to do it) but you can generate one on your client and upload it to the server.
