I think the uploading will be the hardest of all. If you don't have a good connection, it will take days.

I don't think anybody can find a hosting site better than Aternos.

One funny thing about the modpack is that I actually ignored it for like a few weeks before checking it out because it said "Test pack please IGNORE"

Try opening the command prompt and typing in "ipconfig /flushdns", It works for me most of the time.

It is not getting deleted, but saved on the your computer by the ip address so when you use the ip that always changes you cannot get the waypoints you make back unless you login with the same ip again. How to solve: Login to the server with the ip that does not change and you will get them back each time.

You cannot upload mods, you can only install the modpacks they have.

Maybe do a mod function like the bukkit plugins where we request mods. Is that possible?

You need the plugin mcore for factions for it to work.

Are you using a bukkit server? If yes it might be because Aternos servers are in Germany. You can set then back to English or any other languages in the config of the plugins.

You will need worldedit and worldguard.
