I have built a guardian farm in an Aternos server that has laggremover from spigot installed (unsure whether this is the cause for the issue). However, despite being on my own, I am unable to obtain any substantial amount of spawns, with the entity number on the F3 menu remaining steadily under 40, way under the 80 mob cap that default worlds use. Does anyone know the cause for this? Do Aternos servers have a reduced mob cap? Does spigot reduce mob spawning? How can I fix this?

I am in a server that utilizes bukkit/spigot for version 1.14.4. I have recently learned (and had previously observed) that spigot greatly reduces mob spawning, specifically, keeping the mob cap significantly emptier than normal (7-34 entities recorded in f3 screen when alone in the server), by having a reduced mob-spawn-range value (Spigot sets mob-spawn-range : 4, whereas vanilla sets mob-spawn-range : 8).

Is there a way the server's admin could change this value? If so, how?

    Thanks.

My server's Admin installed LaggRemover using bukkit/spigot. Now, when I attempt to affect my world in any way, whether it be hitting a mob, breaking a block, or interacting with an object, I get a "You are not permitted to use [Item]" message. From what I've found out the Essentials AntiBuild plugin causes this, but I am unaware if this plugin is part of LaggRemover and how it can be disabled or removed if it is. Does anyone have any information on this matter?
