  • Backups

    Hi,

    I have a question regarding backups.

    So my friend and I lost a shulker box, probably due to some item glitch, and we are thinking about loading a backup to when we had the item before. We are planning on restoring the lost shulker boxes and the items inside by screenshotting it and then loading a backup of the current server. Is this perfectly safe? Creating a backup of the current world, then loading in a previous backup of when we had our items, and then loading back in the backup of the current world?

  • Permissions not working for not opped players

    Hi,

    I am trying to set up a server with plugins on aternos and i'm running into some issues. I tried using luckperms and created some groups and set permissions for those groups, but when my friend tried using those commands, it didnt work for him.( I could use if ofc bc i had op). We then tried using web edit and he made everything true but it still didn't let him use any of the perms.


    I then switched to powerranks because everything seemed easier but when I added the perms to a rank tested the command without OP, it says that I do not have permission.


    Does anyone have a solution? It seems to me that the problem is having OP or not, but i am not sure.


    I am running a server on 1.14.4. If anyone knows how I can fix LuckPerms, that would be great, I would assume Luckperm is better known than powerranks.
