Check the server log to see why your server has stopped.
The log doesnt say anything when it crashes, it just says this when I start it up and nothing when it crashes:

Over the past few weeks, I have realized that my server has been crashing quite frequently. Ill get it up for 5-10 minutes, and all slots will be being used, and then all the sudden it says server closed. I dont lose anything, but it is quite annoying when Im in the middle of something and it keeps crashing, and it takes a few minutes to shut down and restart.
This doesnt occur every day, sometimes Ill have good and bad days. Sometimes itll go up without a problem, and itll stay up for a few hours with no issue. Other days I barely have enough time to enter the ip and get in and the server is crashed.
Its so annoying! Please help

It may take a while for the download to start. Just hit the download button and wait a few seconds or minutes.
Yes, I waited several minutes. My world is a rather large file, but I can still manage to download it most of the time. This problem also occurred sometimes even when the world was a pretty small file.
Also,totally offtopic but, is there any program where I can cut down the size of my world? Like I could save all the chunks where stuff is built, but it would generate new land when I went back in? I want my server to have the new stuff in 1.8... I think I saw someone talking about it somewhere on this forum but I cant seem to find the thread. It was in this section.

I try to download my world frequently, so in case there is a rollback for some reason, I dont lose much. Sometimes when I go to download the world, it spins around for a minute like its loading, then stops. Its really annoying, please help!
