hello! today i were configurating my server, which uses mods, and i was wondering about adding a tool that allows you to directly put mods from you PC to the mods server files.
Why i could use it?
If you do mods, you will first test if everything goes ok, and testing is commonly made in a singleplayer world because you just need to see if there are any crashes or bugs, because the things beetwen a singleplayer and a multiplayer world are just the same, so you will first download the mods individually in your pc, check if they run ok and all, ad After that you will add them to you server.
But, adding the fuction of directly uploading mods from your pc to your minecraft server will allow you to make it more easy, using the seach tool and adding them its a bit tedious, and if you are new adding mods, you wont know what mod version is the correct one that matches with the one that you got on your pc
But isn't the search method useful?
Yes, it is, but, like i said before, if you are noob in mod matter, you wont know what you are doing and you will end up making a little mess since there will be a lot of try, fail, and retry once again until you end up being able to play with mods in your server.
Adding this feature will allow those newbies to make a modded server in less time, more efficiently, and the search method will still be good and useful, so everything keeps in balance.
