I downloaded the mods in my game and server but unfortunately the mods aren't showing up. The server error message is still saying the same thing.

Hi, so when I try to open my server it gives me an Failed to connect to server message that reads: "This server has mods that require FML/Forge to be installed on the client. Contact your server admin for more details." I use the 1.12.2 Forge modloader to open up minecraft, what do I do?
