These are all the basic causes of lag. Lag is also caused by Redstone contraptions and farms but that lag also has a solution to it. For example if u have a hopper line which only transports items and is not meant to pick up items then add a dropper above that hopper. Light updates caused by pistons also cause a ton of lag, so having some sort of a light source near a small underground flower farm will help in reducing lag. Mobs can also cause lag, so having lit up caves can also help in reducing lag. Loaded entities can also cause lag. So having unnecessary entities loaded can also cause lag.

Yesterday, I had left my account to AFK in my farm but in the morning, I saw that my server was closed. When I checked the log, it showed “ThreadedChunkAnvilStorage” a few times before stopping the server. Usually it shows saving before stopping but it showed “ThreadedChunkAnvilStorage” instead of that. Aternos servers do not close when a player is online and there was no message of the player leaving also in the log. Can someone help me with this problem??
