Display More1. Make a backup of your world
2. Go to Worlds on the Aternos page, and toggle force update on desired world.
3. On the Aternos website change the version to 1.16 and start your server (this will update it to 1.16), then close it.
4. Load the backup you made; it will load all your stuff but in the new version.
5. In worlds, go to files for the desired world and delete folder "DIM-1" (deletes the loaded chunks of the nether and virtually restarts it)
6. start your world

But also you can just skip part 5 and not delete the nether folder and chunks you haven't loaded in the nether will generate as the new nether
