yes, i live in texas and my ISP is ATNT.
the io.netty error message is in full, the connectexception i cannot reproduce unfortunately.

Hello,
I have made servers on aternos and played them successfully before. However recently, I cannot ping any aternos.me addresses nor their corresponding dyn IPs. I have read the guide and changed my DNS to google's and also flushed my cache. Whenever I connect I get io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception error or else some form of a java.connectException, usually after around 30 seconds. Is there a way to fix this? thanks.
