That's what I found.
So the new modding system does not work with anything that is not from curseforge. I reckon that means that any non-curseforge mod coming to curseforge as well can be added to the mods list, right?

I wanted to ask why only CurseForge mods can be added into the mods list. I think Rival Rebells was also on the list in 2018, but then it got removed, and some others too I think.
Is it because the mods don't work with aternos? Or because there is a security risk (which I think (but don't know) is not really the case with Rival Rebells)? Or because of some sort of contract/agreement? And if some of those mod authors who upload their mods on another page were to upload their mods on CurseForge as well, could they then be added into the mods list?
