Ok yeah I was able to do that after converting the other server properties file into a notepad and seeing all of the properties, but is there anyway to increase ping? Today when I tried it the thing was just going crazy

No like its a properties file. Its used to replace the server.properties file inside of the server files, to ensure that the server runs smoothly.

I actually wanted to play the Terra Swoop Force map with my friend so I used aternos to do it. However, there is a properties file that has to be added into the servers folder if I want to actually play the game. Or else, the game wont run properly. Its a map with a resource pack and a bit of coding and the properties file ensures that everything runs smoothly. Anyway I can add a file onto the servers file? Its the same thing as the server.properties file that you can find currently in aternos.

Well, im considering that the world might have been made in an older version, if so, use it in survival, so that they automatically update the version, download it from there, then u can upload it onto your server.

Alright, I just saw the problem now, and i think i know why ur command blocks aint working. This will only work if they got op on ur server. Try
/gamerule commandBlocksEnabled true
They might have disabled this gamerule when they hacked in ur server. Just to tell u as an FYI even if u enable command block output in aternos, if they gamerule has been set to false, it wont work.
