Lag On Server With Mods Is Almost Unplayable

Me and my friend have a server with a mod called Antient Warfare 2

When we went near an area with a lotta entities it started lagging like crazy

and everything was frozen

it was so uncomfortable

IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN FIX IT?
