I share an Aternos server with a few colleagues and all of us have access to the Aternos account
Do not, under any circumstances, share your login information with other people. It’s that simple. There is no reason to ever give your password to anyone else.
If you want other people to be able to start your server, use the Share Access feature.

I was wondering where I can find these settings so I can revert them for myself as my colleague won't tell me.
It's not something on Aternos, so we can't really help you here.
That's either a plugin or with vanilla commands.

3. open the "latest" or "latest.log" file with a text editor
4. copy and paste the content of the file to https://mclo.gs/

But theres already a DiscordSRV from modrinth. Is it the same

Yes? Check it yourself.
I tried suggesting https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/discordsrv.18494/ but it says it cant be added for technical reasons.
Old versions of it allowed arbitrary code execution via Discord commands.
