As Julian said, what would be the point in deleting them if Aternos still had to store them?
YouTube Can delete it, they have a time machine that reverts it to the old time and make it public again. its like making the video private. that's how deleted videos work. There is a way. (Could there be not.)
Aternos isn't YouTube.

Your server hadn't been used for more than 3 months.
As a 100% free service, Aternos had to delete inactive servers.
Aternos keeps the inactive servers for 3 months and sends a notification email 7 days before deleting.
That's why you should always have backups.

You can't get anything back if you don't have any backups sadly.

Contact them if you have trouble uploading the world to their host, not us.
The only way to transfer your Aternos server to another server host is by downloading your worlds(and your plugins/mods configs) and uploading them to another host.
(There's an exception: exaroton)

That's not the problem they are having. They want to get rid of the warning.
what plugin ;-;
Your server has the ServerRestartWarning plugin installed.
You or someone on your server ran the /srw command.
It's a command from the plugin which sends a warning and stops your Aternos server.
If you don't want this warning, just remove the plugin.

The plugin author disabled project distribution.
Therefore, it can't be downloaded outside of CurseForge and Aternos had to remove it.

Is there a weird interaction between Aternos and Curseforge?
No, that error is on Mojang side.
Try logging out of and back into the launcher.
