You most likely don't have the same mods in the same version on your pc as on your server.

If the suggest page says that we can't add it, then we can't add it.

Share your server log:
1.) Go to your log on Aternos: https://aternos.org/log/
2.) Click on the big blue "Share" button on the top right
3.) Copy the link with (Ctrl + C or click on the "Copy" button)

1. Double check that you've installed the same mods in the same versions on your computer and on the server.
2. Try deleting the config folder from your Minecraft installation path
3. Share your client log

What error message does it shows when you tried to join?

You can change the java version by going to https://aternos.org/options and look for the "Environment" option.

By the way it's a client sided mod so you only need to install it on your client.
