With my playerbase growing and all the plugins/datapacks I have, I will soon need to transfer my server to another host.
However, looking at the forums, I have seen that the only direct transfer aternos can do to aonther host is a world transfer. If I want to be able to transfer everything (including plugins, datapacks, etc.,), would copying and pasting all the text/code for all files (player data files, plugin files, config files, etc.,), and putting that text/code into the other host's files work? [For example, if I have worldguard on aternos, I would download worldguard on the other host, then copy and paste the code in the config from aternos into the other host.]
Would this technique be a safe way to make sure everything gets transferred over? If not, what would be a safe method for getting --everything-- transferred?

There's a place on the aternos forums where u can advertise your server

A radius of 10 isn't enough though. It needs to be like 100 or 200 +, but it can cause lags.
Yes, ik a radius of 10 isn't enough, I copied your command and for some reason, it onnly rolled back a radius of 10, even though the command says it to roll back #global. For some reason, #global didn't rollback @global, instead it only did radius of 10 even though I didn't type radius of 10. I will try just doing radius of 100 or 200 since @global didn' work for some reasoon

This response consists of two parts: advertising server to get more players, and how your server set-up contributes to player count.
Part 1: advertising
Advertising is an effective way to gain players quickly. Look up how to advertise your minecraft server. If one idea you find makes you think "I don't like this", than look for an idea that makes you think "I like this one". Some ideas I personally came up with is advertising your server on the aternos forums, on discord server, make a youtube video on your channel that advertises your server. Some other ideas I came up with was looking up server advertisements on google and seeing what others are doing. For example, I would search up on google, "Join my SMP server", and I would see posts from people trying to get more players on their server. See what they're doing and that can also give you some ideas for advertising your server.
Part 2: criteria for setting your server up in a way that gains more players.
Some people won't want to join an aternos server due to the lag it sometimes has. Try to not have too many plugins and make sure to run your server software and paper, and make sure to have some lag clearing plugins. Further, is your server something someone has already done previously? Scenario:, lets suppose your server is a minigame server... why would people want to join an aternos server that lags when hypixel already figured it out and hypixel already exists?
That being said...
Try to have a server that is different from others, or maybe not completely different, but rather a twist, something based off of another server but yet still a lot different in good unique ways. All in all, your server should have some unique experience. Further, try to have a server that...
1) Is able to offer some form of instant gratification that gets people hooked onto the server so people don't just join once and than never come back.
2) Some way to progress in the server
3) Some thing that makes people want to come back for more (not something too grindy tho since a grindy playstyle can make people bored after a month and quit. I mean something fun that makes people come back
4) Something that gives a sense of community5) If your current set up starts getting boring, you're going to need to spice things up. The only only reason hypixel skyblock still has players are because of the updates. If they never updated it, they'd lose all their players.
6) Make sure your server is ready-to-go before you release it to people. First impressions are important! (My SMP server was super buggy when I first released it. People never came back even after I fixed all the bugs. If I had waited and released it later it would be better).
7) Most importantly, your server needs to be something people who play your server want! Remember, the server isn't just for you, but also the people who play on it. Their collective-opinion will outweigh your own opinion if you want more players.
I am also struggling with this issue too. I set up a SMP server that died a week after because normal survival simply wasn't fun enough. Plus, who wants to play survival on a laggy aternos server? I am currently trying to find ideas to change things up. One of my ideas was to make it a "purge"-smp. Everyone has one week to prepare for the purge and once the purge comes, it's anarchy for the whole day. But I also have to consider the fact that people who like building wouldn't enjoy a purge.
PS: yo aternos team, I don't mean to diss on the service you provide by calling it laggy... even with the lag I have really appreciated this service since I could play with some of my irl friends

I tried the command and for some reason #global only rolled back a radius of 10... I'm confused to what happened, do you know what went wrong by any chance?
-
Just type this command: "/co rollback #global t:<time>h"
(<time> must be a value).
Won't that rollback everything tho? Like it'll rollback the overworld, end, and nether, instead of just the nether?
-
I have a server where I want to be able to rollback a 750block radius around 0, 0 in the nether. This way, I can "reset" the nether so that ancient debris never run out. Does anyone know how I can do this with CoreProtect? If there's a command for it, what command would I use? And would I have to be in the nether whilst using the command?
(For those who might say: But why don't you just make the world border infinite instead of resetting nether? I want my server to have a set world border, and I want to be able to reset just the nether).

I have a server that I want to automatically go offline each day at 11:59PM (PST) and be able to go online again after 6am (PST) so people aren't playing past midnight, and am not sure how to do that. Is this possible? If so, how?

--SOLVED--
SOLUTION:
I went into the griefprevention config, and found "CreationRequiresWorldGuardBuildPermission" and set it to false, and that fixed my problem. However, players could still claim spawn, so I typed /adminclaims, and created a claim around spawn, and than typed /trust all. Next, I typed /basicclaims to return to the normal claiming mode. I hope this helps anyone who had this issue. Lastly, I typed /trust all so that grief prevention doesn't have any effect on spawn except for players not being able to claim it. If players are able to break your spawn after you typed /trust all, you will need to defend it with worldguard/worldguard region flags.
Problem:
Plugins that are affecting this issue: WorldGuard and GriefPrevention, (possibly Essentials too but I'd highly doubt Essentials affects it).
In my multiplayer server, I have only three regions set up: (__global__, a region called "spawntown", and a region called "spawn"). The issue I am dealing with is only affected by the regions __global__ and "spawntown", and not by the region "spawn". So what's the issue? Players are NOT able to /claim land or right click with a golden shovel to set a claim in "spawntown", but are able to set a claim in __global__. I want players to be able to also claim land in the region "spawntown".
When players try to claim land in "spawntown", they get a message that says "you can't claim all of this because you're not allowed to build here." To be clear, players are able to build in the region "spawntown", they simply just are NOT able to claim land in that region.
Here are the only flags I have set for region __global__
-passthrough: allow
-build: allow
-tnt: allow
-blocked-cmds: [/easywl off, /easywl remove] <--- (note: easywl commands are just whitelist commands that do not affect this issue)
Here are the only flags I have set for region spawntown:
-passthrough: allow
-build: allow
-tnt: deny
The worldguard region priority of spawntown is 8, whilst __global is 0.
What confuses me is that __global__ and spawntown have pretty much the same worldguard flags set when it comes to being able to claim land, yet players can only claim in __global__ and not spawntown. One may think the issue may have something to do with permissions. However, since players are able to claim land in __global__, maybe it's not permissions that are causing the issue? Maybe this has something to do with the configurations set up in GriefPrevention/or worldguard? Maybe by default, the configuration for GriefPrevention/or worldguard addresses __global__ in a unique way that allows players to claim land in that region, but does not address other regions by default? <-- Those are just guesses. I'm really not too sure what is causing this issue, nor do I know how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas for a fix?
