The post here: Skript on aternos [WHY UPDATING IS NO ISSUE] got closed before the staff even read it. Please actually respond with a note saying why my posts get closed before just peeking at the title and then closing it, I did my research and I know this topic has been posted about a ton, I'm explaining how the issue adressed here: RE: Less limits to where the Plugins can come from can be fixed.

I know this has been covered tons of times by the community, but it is pretty much vital at this point.

The current version of skript that is available to aternos users is from dev bukkit, and was last updated 7 years ago. It is only compatible with 1.7 and 1.8 and barely functions at all since it is so outdated. I know that the new versions cannot be installed because they are from GitHub, but honestly, there is already plenty of evidence that compatibility should be fine and security is not an issue.

oml i submitted it by accident before finishing, ill explain in the replys

GitHub has no api to my knowledge or to the staff's knowledge, so I accept that automatic updates are not possible, but in my opinion they should add a rule where the staff accept applications for the absolute most popular plugins, and we already know how popular skript is and how many people want it. None of the staff have to check it that regularly, only weekly or even monthly since updates are only minor and not posted often and proper syntax additions are often included in skript addons, which are often found on skript or dev bukkit.

There are no issues with "external sites", all downloads are made directly from GitHub and are easy to find on the skript home page on the website.

Overall I see no problem with skript, it is safe for the server host and is literally a way for aternos users to make their servers run however they want them to run. If proper support is added then I believe that a lot of community servers will run better, with more compatibility and knowing that skript is not as messed up as it currently is.
