I believe the lack of Addons for Applied Energistics 2 made the mod become popular quickly. Or maybe because of version 1.12.2.

I tried many times to add the LazierAE2 mod as a suggestion in Aternos, but it says its not popular enough. Currently the mod has 130k downloads and has been launched in June 7th.
